AEM Back End Developer:

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AEM components, services, workflows, and integrations
• Build reusable backend modules using Java, Sling Models, and OSGi services
• Customize AEM workflows, templates, and content structures
• Integrate AEM with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs
• Manage and optimize content repositories (JCR)
• Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure scalability
• Work closely with front-end developers and architects
• Implement security, caching, and dispatcher configurations

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java, J2EE, and web technologies
• Hands-on experience with AEM 6.x or AEM as a Cloud Service
• Expertise in Sling, OSGi, JCR (Apache Jackrabbit)
• Experience with AEM workflows, templates, and components
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration patterns
• Experience with Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Dispatcher configuration and caching strategies
