Accion Labs is a leading provider of product
engineering, development, and design services to a range of technology
firms. On behalf of our direct client, a software provider in the healthcare
space, we're seeking a Data Engineer with the following skills/experience:

·       5+ years of experience in Data Engineering. 

·       Experience with the design and development of data
pipelines, ETL/ETL tools or custom scripts/pipelines related to analytics and
business intelligence.

·       Experience with Scala is required

·       Experience with Python and/or JavaScript custom development

·       Expert level knowledge of SQL and SQL Style Guide

·       Experience with relational and/or columnar databases, Big
Data stores

·       Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies 

·       A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline

Nice to haves:

·       AWS data pipeline tools - desired

·       Understanding of data science principles

·       Agile development process experience

·       Understanding of data store design (data lakes; relational,
columnar, NoSQL databases; analytic cubes)
