PRIMARYDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works withother team members and business stakeholders on complex projects and tasks todrive development of business analytics requirements and synthesize these intodata integration and enterprise data access requirements that communicate acoherent message.

• Works withdata visualization specialists to facilitate technical design of complex datasourcing, transformation and aggregation logic ensuring business analyticsrequirements are met.

• Drivesdevelopment and adoption of and adherence to data engineering standards usingbest practice methods and techniques.

• Providessupport in execution and delivery of business reporting.

• Leads smallproject teams or work streams.

EXPERIENCEAND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

RequiresBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a relatedfield; requires 5+ years of responsible experience in developing businesssolutions. The experience should be with requirements gathering, SQL, DataIntegration tools such as Informatica Powercenter, Microsoft SSIS, Azure ADFand Data Warehousing techniques.

MINIMUM SKILLS,KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years ofexperience developing BI/DW solutions in Informatica Powercenter or similartool like IICS, Microsoft ADF, Apache Spark, Talend, but not limited toarchitecture design/development with the ability to resolve issues quickly andefficiently.

• 5+ years ofusing Structured Query Language (SQL)

• Knowledge andexposures to Azure SQL DataWarehouse, Databricks or other cloud or on premisesMPP data warehousing systems (SAP HANA, Teradata, Snowflake)

• Experiencewith Data Lake implementations and design patterns

• Experience inusing and tuning relational databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySql)

• Experiencewith Lambda and Kappa architecture implementations is a plus

• Knowledge ofTest Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Agile/Scrum

• Experiencewith code versioning tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, etc., and a command ofconfiguration management concepts and tools.

• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and coding techniques.

• Experiencedesigning, developing and testing applications using proven or emergingtechnologies, in a variety of technologies and environments.

• Knowledge incloud resource provisioning and management on Azure and/or AWS is a plus.

• Familiar withStreaming and with streaming concepts and patterns is a plus

• Scientificcomputing experience (R, Matlab, Python, etc.) is a plus

• Motivatedquick learner presenting a positive energetic and professional image able towork in a fast-paced, collaborative, and project-oriented environment.

• Stronginterpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicateeffectively both verbally and in writing.

• Goodknowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

• Some priorexposure to pharmaceutical distribution/health care services industry desired

• Ability tolead other Data Engineers on small projects initiatives

• Ensures thatdata is clean, consistent, and synchronized across platforms as needed.

• Oversees thedesign and implementation of data cleansing procedures.

• Leads theidentification of areas affecting data integrity and coordinates correctiveactions.

• Developssolutions and recommendations for improving data integrity issues.

• Analyzes dataissues and works with development teams for problem resolutions.

• Ensures thatphysical models align with the logical data model.

• Reviews andapproves the logical data models.
