Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced EDI Developer with strong .NET and CData Arc (Cburger) expertise to design, develop, and support EDI integrations between enterprise applications and external trading partners. The role involves EDI mapping, workflow automation, and integration of EDI data with .NET-based business systems and APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop EDI integrations using CData Arc (Cburger)
- Build and maintain EDI mappings (ANSI X12 / EDIFACT)
- Integrate EDI transactions with .NET applications, APIs, and databases
- Configure and manage trading partner connections (AS2, SFTP, FTP)
- Develop custom .NET components/services for EDI processing
- Monitor EDI workflows and troubleshoot failures
- Perform onboarding of new trading partners and document mappings
- Support production EDI environment and incident resolution
- Collaborate with ERP / business / supply chain teams
- Ensure compliance with EDI standards and partner requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in EDI development and integration
- Hands-on experience with CData Arc (Cburger) platform
- Proficiency in .NET / C# / ASP.NET / Web API
- Experience with EDI standards - ANSI X12 & EDIFACT
- EDI mapping and transformation experience
- Experience with communication protocols - AS2, SFTP, FTP
- Experience integrating EDI with ERP or business systems
- SQL / database integration experience
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with REST / API-based integrations alongside EDI
- Experience with JSON/XML ↔ EDI transformations
- Knowledge of supply chain EDI transactions - 850 (PO), 810 (Invoice), 856 (ASN), 997 (Ack)
- Experience with cloud or hybrid integration architectures
- Exposure to DevOps / CI-CD for .NET integrations
