Program Manager

Job Description


We are looking for an experienced Project / Program Manager to lead the onboarding of a new infrastructure service provider across multiple datacenters in Europe and APAC.

This role focuses on delivering a controlled, compliant, and business-safe transition, ensuring operational readiness, governance, and alignment across internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end service provider onboarding and transition across multiple datacenters
  • Define and manage program roadmap, milestones, dependencies, and critical path
  • Establish and manage governance (RAID, reporting, escalation, SteerCo)
  • Coordinate activities across infrastructure teams, vendors, and regions (EU & APAC)
  • Ensure site readiness, access, connectivity, and infrastructure scope alignment
  • Oversee knowledge transfer and ensure documentation (runbooks, SOPs, CMDB) is complete
  • Ensure operational readiness across ITIL processes (incident, change, problem, monitoring, backup, DR)
  • Validate support model, tooling access, and service integration (Service Desk, L2/L3, monitoring)
  • Ensure compliance with security, GDPR, audit, and contractual requirements
  • Track risks, dependencies, and transition acceptance criteria
  • Provide clear reporting and communication to technical and business stakeholders


Required Experience

  • 8–12+ years in infrastructure project or program management
  • Proven experience with service provider transitions or outsourcing programs
  • Strong background in datacenter operations, infrastructure, or hybrid IT
  • Experience managing global or multi-country programs
  • Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience
  • Experience with ITIL-based service management processes
  • Good understanding of risk, compliance, and governance


Technical Knowledge

  • Datacenter infrastructure (server, storage, network, database, middleware)
  • Monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery
  • CMDB, asset management, IAM / PAM
  • ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred)
  • Cloud / hybrid infrastructure concepts
  • Automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform – nice to have)
