Our client is one of the main suppliers of ERP Solutions for global governmental organizations. They supply Payroll, Human Resources, Payments and several other apps in an integrated Platform, which has been around and trusted for many years. They are looking to modernize the Platform with  a modern tech stack, comprised of Java, Spring Boot, Angular, MySQL as the main technologies. The cloud environment over which the components run and integrate is AWS.

QA Automation Engineer Focus: Platform & Application Quality

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated test frameworks for web and API testing.
• Develop end-to-end tests using Playwright MCP (preferred).
• Use either Python or Java as backend for efficient test case generation.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Validate modernization work and new features across ERP modules.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

• 4+ years experience in QA or test automation.
• Strong skills in Python or Java.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright (or Cypress/Selenium).
• Experience testing enterprise or government-grade applications.
• Knowledge of API testing and basic SQL.
• Experience in Agile environments.
