Job Title: Senior / Lead RPA Business Analyst (UiPath)
Location: India (Hybrid), EU Support (12:30pm – 9:30pm IST)

Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced RPA Business Analyst with strong expertise in UiPath and process automation across business functions such as Finance, HR, Operations, Customer Service. Experience with Legal industry will be a big plus.
The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between business teams and technical developers, driving automation opportunities from discovery through delivery, and ensuring measurable business outcomes.
This role demands hands-on experience in requirement gathering, process documentation, stakeholder management, and solution validation within RPA-led transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering
Work closely with business stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize automation opportunities across enterprise processes.
Conduct process discovery workshops, capture AS-IS workflows, and design TO-BE automated processes.
Perform feasibility analysis and RPA fitment assessments for proposed processes.
Define and document detailed business and functional requirements, user stories, and process flows in collaboration with RPA developers and solution architects.
Solution Design & Validation
Translate business requirements into technical automation specifications for UiPath-based solutions.
Collaborate with Solution Architects to validate automation approaches, complexity, and scalability.
Support creation of Process Design Documents (PDDs) and Solution Design Documents (SDDs).
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Act as the primary point of contact between business teams and the RPA delivery team.
Present automation opportunities, ROI models, and process improvement outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
Facilitate change management and adoption of automation solutions within business units.
Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment on expectations.
Governance & Best Practices
Support the setup and adherence to RPA governance standards, templates, and delivery methodology (Agile / Scrum / Waterfall).
Contribute to the Automation Opportunity Pipeline and Automation Heatmap for enterprise visibility.
Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and process governance requirements.
Track automation performance metrics and drive continuous process optimization.
Collaboration & Leadership
Collaborate with RPA Developers, Architects, and the CoE to ensure smooth project execution and knowledge transfer.
Contribute to process mining or discovery tool initiatives (e.g., UiPath Process Mining, Task Capture, Automation Hub).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
8–10 years of total experience, with 5+ years in RPA (UiPath preferred) as a Business Analyst or similar role.
Strong understanding of UiPath ecosystem — Studio, Orchestrator, Assistant, Insights, Automation Hub.
Experience working with UiPath Process Mining / Task Mining / Document Understanding (OCR) is a plus.
Good understanding of automation feasibility, complexity scoring, and ROI estimation models.
Exposure to API-based automation, AI/ML integrations, and Agentic AI concepts is advantageous.
Analytical & Process Skills
Strong process analysis and re-engineering capabilities using BPMN or similar methodologies.
Ability to create process maps, swimlanes, and decision matrices in tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro.
Communication & Leadership
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills across business and IT teams.
Strong documentation and reporting skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to influence, negotiate, and build consensus across multiple levels of an organization.
Preferred Qualifications
UiPath Business Analyst Foundation / Advanced certification or equivalent.
Exposure to Intelligent Automation / Hyperautomation tools — OCR, NLP, Chatbots, AI Agents, Power Automate, or Automation Anywhere.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments and familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
