Senior .NET Lead Engineer (Remote – EST Time Zone - Eastern Standard Time)

Location: Remote
Working Hours: (up to 2–3 PM EST for first 4 months, after 4 months work up to 11am-12pm EST)

We’re looking for a Senior .NET Lead who is technically exceptional, independent, and proactive, ready to contribute to a global platform used in the finance industry.
Responsibilities:
• Lead design and implementation of backend solutions using C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs
• Collaborate closely with client architects and product teams
• Own full SDLC: planning, developmen

t, deployment, and maintenance
• Guide and mentor developers within a distributed team
• Ensure clean, performant, and secure code aligned with best practices
• Work partially overlapping with EST timezone as presented above (must)

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong SQL Experience (SQL Expert)
• 8+ years of experience in backend/.NET development
• Expertise in C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, SQL Server, and backend architecture
• Experience working in cloud environments (preferably Azure)
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, Agile methodologies
• Clear communicator, able to work independently
• Comfortable working occasional late evenings for potential production emergencies

Nice to Have:
• Frontend integration (Angular, React, or Blazor)
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
• Familiarity with DevOps or Infrastructure-as-Code
• Experience working in finance or large-scale enterprise environments
