Location: Remote

Work Schedule:  Shift Timing: 3:00 p.m. To 9:00 PM Eastern Time

 

  • Manage and support advanced network environments using BGP, VRRP/HSRP, IPsec, and SD-WAN.
  • Deploy and maintain Software Defined Networking (SDN) and SASE solutions.
  • Automate and script in environments using JSON, Bash, Python, XML, YANG/NETCONF.
  • Collaborate across UNIX-based systems: BSD, Linux, Solaris.
  • Contribute to a high-performance telecom and networking infrastructure.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 6+ years of experience in Networking, Telecom, or IT Security.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SD-WAN and/or SASE (2+ years).
  • Background in a carrier/service provider environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with QinQ, MPLS, BGP, IS-IS, IPv6, DWDM, CWDM, and related protocols.
  • Technical certifications from Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, or Ciena are preferred.

 

 

Education:

🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Networking, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  •  Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for customer-facing SD-WAN solutions, including configuration, monitoring, and incident response.
  •  Troubleshoot complex network problems involving SD-WAN overlays, underlay transport, routing, VPNs, and service policy issues.
  •  Support and troubleshoot firewall configurations, ACLs, NAT policies (Static, Dynamic, PAT), and IPSec tunnels.
  •  Identify, diagnose, and resolve network performance and connectivity issues across L2/L3.
  •  Assist in the provisioning and validation of customer SD-WAN appliances and edge devices.
  •  Escalate unresolved issues to Engineering or vendors with clear documentation and technical analysis.
  •  Work closely with implementation teams during customer turn-ups and post-deployment support.
  •  Maintain and update internal documentation, technical procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  •  Support core routing protocols and technologies including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, VPLS, and IPv6.
  •  Participate in network monitoring, alerts review, and on-call support rotation as required.
