Job Title: Product Owner – E-commerce & AI SolutionsJob Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our team and work closely with one of our key e-commerce clients. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the development team, driving product success by clearly articulating business needs and ensuring delivery of high-quality, valuable features.In addition, this role will play a key part in driving AI-led innovation, including the design and implementation of an AI-enabled chatbot capable of leveraging internal knowledge bases such as JIRA and other technical repositories to resolve customer technical queries efficiently.Key Responsibilities:· Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document requirements.· Translate business needs into clear, concise, and prioritized user stories and acceptance criteria.· Serve as the voice of the customer and stakeholders to ensure the development team fully understands the business context.· Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivery timelines.· Participate actively in product roadmap discussions, release planning, and prioritization sessions with the client.· Facilitate and contribute to workshops, stakeholder meetings, and sprint planning sessions.· Work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and QA to ensure smooth and efficient product delivery.· Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and gather feedback for continuous product improvement.· Stay updated on e-commerce trends, user behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and product enhancement.AI & Automation Responsibilities:· Define, design, and drive development of an AI-enabled chatbot solution to handle customer technical queries.· Enable the chatbot to integrate with internal systems such as JIRA, Confluence, and other technical knowledge bases to retrieve relevant issue resolutions and documentation.· Collaborate with data, AI/ML, and engineering teams to develop intelligent query-handling capabilities, including natural language understanding and contextual response generation.· Identify, prioritize, and define use cases for AI-driven customer support automation, particularly around technical issue resolution.· Work with stakeholders to ensure AI solutions align with business goals, customer experience expectations, and data governance policies.Required Skills & Qualifications:· 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role, preferably in the e-commerce domain.· Strong experience in requirement elicitation, stakeholder management, and working in agile environments.· Excellent ability to write detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.· Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.· Strong interpersonal and communication skills – able to convey complex ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.· Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, design, marketing).· Proactive mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement and propose scalable solutions.· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (MBA is a plus).AI/Technical Requirements:· Experience working on AI/ML-driven products or conversational AI/chatbot platforms.· Understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), or AI-based knowledge retrieval systems.· Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems such as JIRA, knowledge bases, or ticketing systems.· Ability to define AI product requirements including data needs, model behavior, and performance metrics.Nice to Have:· Experience in B2C or B2B e-commerce platforms.· Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).· Certification like CSPO, PSPO, CBAP or equivalent is a plus.· Exposure to tools or platforms related to conversational AI (e.g., Dialogflow, Azure AI, OpenAI, etc.).
