Job Title: Data Engineer – Cloud Data PlatformRole OverviewWe are seeking a talented Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions on our cloud data platform. This role will play a key part in enabling data-driven decision-making by delivering high-quality data pipelines, models, and analytics-ready datasets.The ideal candidate will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights, ensuring platform performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities1. Data Engineering & Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for data ingestion, transformation, and integration
  • Build and optimize data models and data warehouse structures to support business analytics
  • Develop reusable data assets to support reporting, analytics, and AI use cases 

2. Cloud Data Platform Management

  • Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system uptime
  • Identify bottlenecks and optimize data processing and pipeline performance
  • Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and ensure platform reliability and security 

3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Partner with architecture and engineering teams to implement scalable and high-performing data solutions
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders

4. Data Integration & Processing

  • Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs (REST/GraphQL), enterprise systems, and cloud platforms
  • Support data lake, data warehouse, and analytics ecosystems
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across systems

5. DevOps & Automation

  • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using modern DevOps tools
  • Maintain version control and deployment standards (e.g., GitHub)
  • Automate data workflows and processes where possible

6. Documentation & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain documentation for data pipelines, models, and platform processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for performance, scalability, and usability
  • Stay updated with emerging data technologies and best practices

Skills & Experience

  • 4–8+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
  • Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and data modelling
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt preferred)
  • Experience with API-based data ingestion (REST/GraphQL)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
